I am an American who has had immediate family or ancestors in every conflict America has faced since the Revolution. I'm sick of people debating what a socialist is. It's not black or white (I'm not talking about race people) but somewhere in between. Just what do you think "share the wealth" really means?

The sad thing is that it means that we are now America the Stupid. Anyone who believes that all the information about his past is either false or inconsequential is just an idiot. America has successfully been dumbed down to the point where people actually believe a tool like Obama will bring a new tomorrow. Yes, there will be change at the cost of our constitutional rights and it is already underway. The First and Second Amendments are already under attack but hey, they're outdated, right? CNN has even compared the Second Amendment to slavery as something that "sounded good at the the time but we have corrected that". I do believe that the media is actually dumber than the Obama voter.

There is indeed change coming and many won't like it. Which side will you take?

Obama won't end prohibition like he stated he would. He is a liar and a fraud, with lies and corruption to show for his time in the IL Senate. His book is full of keynesian/marxist rhetoric, denouncing the economic system that gave us the industrial revolution (calling it "outdated for modern times" LOL).

Moreover, he wishes to extend drug prohibition to gun owners as well, giving us an even larger black market! This site is 100% right that if you are a gun owner, the only person who might be worse in the whitehouse is McCain (because the people who call themselves "Republicans" these days are identical to "liberal Democrats" like Obama-Marx).

The only answer if you want limited government is to vote Libertarian. They consistently oppose government intervention into the free market, on social and fiscal issues. Google "Wayne Root" and you will see the Libertarian candidate for president. He is a down to earth, normal guy, not a professional politician.

We've had too many professional politicians in this country. They have given us Federal Reserve Socialism, and big spending. Especially George Bush. Each new president is worse than the prior one, simply because DC has run away with power.

As a nation, the people are supposed to hold the power, and we still do --but we've become a cowardly people, afraid to take responsibility for our own protection. We've become a nation of "soccer moms" afraid to carry a handgun. We've become afraid to stand up to tyrant judges, and vote "not guilty" when our fellow man is accused of tax violations that didn't even exist 111 years ago.

Until we grow a backbone, and vote libertarian (in spite of the bullshit scare tactics arguing that one of two identical evils is better), it will never change.

Until we grow a backbone, and use our power as jurors to veto bad laws, it will never change.

To reject socialism, you have to reject ALL FORMS of socialism. Otherwise, nothing changes. Even Sarah Palin presided over a growing Alaska budget, full of earmarks, and she halfway understand jury rights in the Bill of Rights!
