The recent gain in the polls for Barack Obama is a direct result of the crisis on Wall Street. So why isn't the McCain campaign jumping all over the fact that the Democrats caused it?

UPDATE
- McCain just suspended his campaign to focus on the economy - looks like they're striking at the right time. If Obama doesn't follow suit, he'll be putting personal ambition over the well-being of the country. If he does, McCain will be the victor for doing so first. As Jennifer Rubin writes at Contentions, "Meanwhile, if that doesn’t work, the McCain camp has put out a blistering e-mail suggesting that while James Johnson was still receiving tens of thousands of dollars from Fannie Mae per month, he was selected as Obama’s VP Search Committee chair. They then challenge the media to investigate."
- I also just saw the transcript of a speech that McCain made a few days ago doing exactly what I suggested, although I'm assuming it hasn't received any coverage in the states (I can't watch Fox News from Jerusalem). he needs to do more of this.

I sincerely hope that the McCain campaign knows what it’s doing. They stayed away from attacking Obama on his friends in Chicago until a few days ago, and now they’re staying away from the issue that I think can win McCain the election.
Because of worries brought on by the financial crisis, Obama now holds a nine-point lead over McCain in the polls. If you have been following the conservative blogs recently, you should be scratching your head. Obama and his Democrats are beyond all doubt the cause of this financial crisis – they voted against countless reforms proposed by the Republicans in Congress, while at the same time President Bush (yes, the hated, “semi-retarded” President Bush) and his administration were proposing similar reforms. The Dems were pocketing money left and right from companies like Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, Bear Stearns, and Lehman Brothers – Obama, for example, raked in almost $130,000 from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac during his three years in national government, as opposed to the $21,550 McCain received from the same companies during his 26 years in national government. That means Obama received on average 52 times the amount McCain received per year. Fishy? Should be.
So given the reasoning for Obama’s lead in the polls, McCain would theoretically be well in the lead if people were to be told the facts: Obama and his buddies caused the financial crisis. Obama’s tax plan would put the nation further into financial crisis.
But the McCain campaign is again quiet. Are they waiting for the debates? If so, I’m excited for Obama’s stammering response when McCain brings up this issue. Or are they making the commercials as I write this? Hopefully both are true. But we really can’t be sure – so far the McCain campaign has not impressed me on its ability to hit Obama where it hurts.

I was born in America,My father was a medic in world war two,My brother served in the air force and i was going into the airborn until i busted my knee in a foot ball game the day before i was leaving to have my physical. My point being is i loved this great nation and was willing to give my life to serve it.John McCain felt the same way.Did Mr Obama ever serve his contry or want to? John McCain knows what it,s like to say In GOD we trust. All true Americans should be able to say the very same thing and mean it.This nation was bulit on the beleife in GOD and true Christian morals.Mr Obama in one of his speaches tried to point out that in biblical times GOD made war just to be makeing war.If Mr Obama knew anything at all he would know that GOD dosn,t make war just becouse he is bored or for revenge. Why GOD does anything is up to GOD,Obama is not smarter or better just becouse he dosn,t beleive in fighting,It just makes him a coward. What will happen if at any point some terroist group attacks us again and we have this bafone in office?i wonder if anyboady feel,s safe with a leader that puts down GOD dosn,t beleive in fighting and sway,s however the wind blow,s.I cant beleive that we have a leader based on color rather than his morals, experience and who is the best man for the job.It wont just be McCain supporters that suffer it will be the entire nation.Obama has done one thing,He has shown us that he can make one bad decision after another and never learn from his mistakes. The people he has for friends, the cases he was a lawyer on,Such as when he and his other lawyer friends made the banks and lending agencies give loans to people who could not pay the money back.( home loans). Now look at the mess we are in becouse of his great decision makeing abilities.Well we wont have anyboady to blame except the ones who fell for the lies the one,s that voted for a color and the one,s that were just so stupied that they did not know what else to do.I wanted to move out of the contry when George bush was our leader but i stuck it out.Now more than ever i want to move,I feel like my heart has been torn out and all hope of America becomeing great again is gone.

Its called “The Accomplishments of Barack Obama”, it has a table of contents and a foreward, and the rest of the book is BLANK! Portion of the profits go to charity too. Check out the website, I put the book on my coffee table and had a party this past weekend, everyone thought it was hilarious:
